For the past couple of weeks, Tina Fey has been causing laughter all throughout the country. She has made politics hilarious and very entertaining for everyone. Her most popular sketches lately have been about her doing impersonations about Sarah Palin, who is running for vice presidency along with John McCain. Tina Fey has drawn many people to start watching Saturday Night Live just because of her amazing impersonation. She also draws people into watching SNL because of how she is almost identical to Sarah Palin.
Tina Fey not only looks like Sarah Palin, she also makes fun of the way she presents herself. Tina Fey is constantly making jokes about the way Palin talks, winks, and her poses. Tina Fey also talks a lot about Sarah Palin’s lack of experience. Because Fey’s segments on Saturday Night Live, she may be the cause of why McCain and Palin are losing votes. On a survey of three hundred and fourteen democrats, republicans, and independents, it shows how the ratings have dropped for McCain and Palin. Tina Fey is definitely causing some damage.
Even though this may be a negative effect on the McCain and Palin Campaign, it is turning out to be great success for Tina Fey. Tina Fey has a great chance of winning an emmy this year just for her segments on impersonating Sarah Palin. So even though this is negative publicity for Sarah Palin, Tina Fey is succeeding for herself and for Saturday Night Live. Now all we can do is wait and see how this may or may not affect the 2008 presidential election.
