The cafeteria at Campbellsport High School is a pretty popular place. It is used in the morning, afternoon, and night. The cafeteria is a place that everyone knows about and a place everyone enjoys being. Being in the cafeteria usually means free time to do as you please.
The cafeteria is normally used for eating lunch. However, a lot of other activities take place there. In the morning, quite a few students go there to eat their breakfast. The cafeteria is then used in the afternoon for everyone to eat lunch. During lunch, students have the option to eat, socialize, do some homework, study, or just relax. Then later on after school, and sometimes late at night, the cafeteria is used by the Campbellsport High School dance team. They use the cafeteria for practice space because of its large size.
Even though the cafeteria is usually filled with conversation and fun, it can also be a place for embarrassment. On multiple occasions, students will trip and fall while holding on to their lunch trays. This causes their food to go everywhere and leave a big mess. As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, they then have to grab a rag and clean up their mess that was made onto the floor. I remember seeing this happen many times throughout my schooling years.
The cafeteria is a very unique place at the Campbellsport High School. The cafeteria is the only room in the building that has a different smell everyday. The smell always consists of different foods that will be served that day. Also, the cafeteria is the only room that always has food smashed on the ground. Another thing that makes it unique is that whenever the floor is waxed, you can always manage to find a piece or clump of someone’s hair waxed into it.
While taping our documentary, we will most likely be taping from one of the main openings to the lunch room. This is because we can then get the entire lunch room on the footage and see everybody in action. Also, it will be easier to hear us talking because if we were stationed inside the cafeteria, the other conversations going on might make it harder for the camera to pick up our voices, therefore, making it difficult for us to be heard.
The picture I have posted shows the cafeteria during “C” lunch here at Campbellsport High School. It shows everyone eating and doing there own thing. I have also captured one Campbellsport student trying to get out of the way of the picture because he spotted us taking a picture and didn’t want to be in the way.
